For the price, the Automatic Kettle gets the job done. You have to pay more if you want one with a stand or a larger kettle size.

PROS:
-Low Price
-Heats water in 1-2 minutes

CONS (minor gripes really):
-the cable it comes with is short and sometimes must be detached to pour.
-You must pour slowly because water can leak if you pour too fast
-You must fill the kettle to a minimum water level to cover the heating coil.

But again overall, it's great value for the price. You pay an extra 10-30 dollars you can get some sleeker models but if you're like me as long as it can heat water quickly you probably don't really care about much else.

Since the kettle had a strong plastic smell when i first got it, I boiled water in it 5 times and was pleased when the odor vanished. However I noticed that there is buildup in the bottom (white sandy specs) and the heating unit is showing dark discoloration and pit marks. Is this safe? It seems like it might be producing carcinogens.
This kettle is great, loads better than the old electric kettle I got from Walmart. There's no steam burns and the unit automatically turns off when it's done boiling, so I don't have to worry about forgetting about it. The liter of water it holds is exactly enough to fill my thermal coffee mug twice.

I give it four stars, though, because the cord is too short to be useful. I understand that it's so I don't trip over the cord and burn myself, but having to keep the kettle filled with water right next to my power strip isn't much safer.
Pretty good album. Anyone who likes this should check out a compilation series on iTunes called "Euro Club Hits" ... (there's a vol. 1, vol. 2, vol. 3, etc. etc.)...... So much of current club music in the USA is based in the stuff coming out of Europe, and yet nobody seems to know of it and the radio doesn't play it here! So I'm taking it as my personal mission to introduce everyone to it as best I can ...... "Euro Club Hits" -- it's only on the digital services for some reason -- iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Emusic, etc. etc.
Well, what could i really say? The Chemical Brothers never cease to amaze me. The duo always seem to be going down different avenues with their music. They're extremely innovating. I wont waste your time, there are plenty of reviews to read. If you like Push The Button, then you'll probably like this album.
Also, i happen to enjoy that groovy tune The Salmon Dance. I read a couple of the other reviews and i dont understand whats so bad about this song. Dont bash it just because it doesn't sound like their previous work.
Im not sure how anyone could possibly call their music redundant. Their beats are constantly changing, and thats more than i can say for the rest of the techno genre.
I recommend this album, but the only way you'll know is if you hear it yourself. Hope you enjoy
To all the reviewers bashing The Salmon Dance: If you're gonna take techno 100% seriously, don't listen to TCB please. It's probably one of the most solid tracks on this album. My friends and I, after playing the whole record, remembered the salmon dance the most afterwards. It's danceable, it's humorous, and it's fun.

Which is what techno/hip hop is supposed to be in the first place.

That being said, this was a great release from the chemicals. I'd call it a sequel to Surrender more or less (especially the title track).

Best Tracks: Saturate, Do it Again, The Salmon Dance.
This album is not the duo's best effort. They had a lot of keyboards, samples and vocals on this record which would leave you scratching your head. They have too many collaborations on this album which are not that great. "Do It Again" is a great track with Ali Love which had charted in the UK top 20. From "Saturate" through "A Modern Midnight Converstation" are stand outs. Everything else on this record doesn't stand out very well. The iTunes only bonus track, "Seal" is great and should have been on the album. These following B-sides, "Clip Kiss" and "No Need" also are great and should have been the album. The remixes for "Do It Again" are better than the album version. In my honest opinion, this album is alright and it could have been a tad bit better.
This isn't the completely the Chemical Brothers I know. However, I've never owned an album by them before so what did I know? I knew them from their singles, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had heard "Do It Again" on the radio and fell in love with it. It's a really good - and especially catchy single. So I bought the Album with pretty high expectations.

And the first part of it doesn't let down. It opens up with a blast. The title song is a repetitive electronic mix, one that I wouldn't be ashamed to dance to, nor listen to. The next song features the Klaxons - a band I have heard of, but never really listened to - and it is once again is a magnificently poppy song, infused with an electric, chanting chorus. The next song, "Saturate" - is more of the same, this time leaving behind the mythical, outworldly chanting, replacing it with high pitched 'bleeps'. It's a more classical electric sound. This pattern of extraterrastial sounds and chanting is repeated throughout the album, creating a mystical feeling - one that is often associated with the night. The Album cover does nothing to dissuade one from assuming that this is the soundtrack of a slightly eerie fairy tale which takes place inside of the mind of the Chemical Brothers.

The one track that stands out - as a track that is completely different from the rest of the album - is the "Salmon Dance". An electric version of what a School House Rock film on salmons would have sounded like. It feels a bit like they were kidding around with this.

Overall I was really satisfied with the album, and I felt it was a great - if a bit surprising - introduction to the Chemical Brothers on record. I'm definitly looking into adding more of their albums to my collection.
Although this is Yanni's performance the violinist, the drummer and the band members hide the fact I am not a true Yanni fan. The best drum solo I have seen and I have seen a lot. Also the woman in red if you will who performs miraculous works of art and music on her violin are not to be missed. Became a favorite CD of my nine year old daughter and you must see to love it.
The DVD arrived in a timely fashion and was in perfect shape.
This is still my favorite Yanni concert. I bought it on Laserdisc years ago. My only regret is that the picture quality on DVD is about the same as Laserdisc. This could be due to the original Video production, however. Sound is fabulous. I am satisfied.
No wonder this is one of the top selling videos. This was an incredible concert--wished I had seen it live in Athens, but this way I can watch it over and over again instead of only having my memory of the event. Love this video.
I've always liked Yanni since I heard his CD "Yanni - Live at the Acropolis" some six / seven years ago. I recently purchsed an HDTV, so I decided to purchase the DVD (which I liked when I saw it first on Public TV). I was very disappointed by the video quality. but I still love the music!
Fantastic documentary, the only thing preventing me giving it 5 stars is the fact that it doesn't have English subtitles and it is sometimes difficult to understand what Theremin is saying with his thick Russian accent.
OK, so I would have known this if I'd read the other reviews on this page - but I'll add my opinion anyway, just in case it helps someone else.
I bought this DVD to replace a domestic VHS copy of 'Theremin' I made from Channel 4 (UK) television some time in the 1990s. It was an excellent documentary (I thought) and wanted a permanent copy for my library. The thing is, the UK television version was excellently subtitled and captioned - as many people have observed, Prof. Theremin's English is pretty much incomprehensible, and there's at least once scene where he and Clara Rockmore converse in Russian (presumably) for several minutes.
I was surprised and disappointed to find that this DVD does not have the subtitles for these sections, or the captions to indicate who the (often obscure) people being interviewed actually are. In fact, there are no English subtitles of any kind to help you.
Why not? Was this the director's intention? If so, can I just say that I'm very irritated by documentary directors who - in their rush to pretend they're making a 'film' - feel it's uncool to give us hard facts, because it cramps their visual style etc. Come on! It's a documentary - it's meant to inform us. Give us the information we need to benefit fully from it!!
Needless to say, if this DVD doesn't represent the director's intention, and should have the captions/subtitling, then this is also a serious oversight.
Either way, an excellent and informative documentary has been turned into a confusing indulgence - and I'll still need to keep that VHS copy so I know what's going on. Absolutely maddening.
My interest in the theremin began when I wondered what instrument was used in those sounds for the movie, "The Day The Earth Stood Still". Off the beaten path it took me as I found Russian connections, Tesla references, and finally, with this DVD, witnessing the actual playing of this bizarre instrument. It's just fascinating.
If you are someone who loves to find true stories that are much, much stranger than fiction, get this DVD. Do it now.
And let me know if you have a good used theremin for sale.
This is an amazing story in its own right, and a documentary worth preserving in your own collection. People interested in music history, both classical and popular, will cherish the live footage of Nicolas Slonimsky, Mr. Moog, and of course of Theremin himself, among other people. You will want to show this movie to your friends, and you are likely to want to see it again to refresh your memory of quite an era.
I watched this DVD documentary with my daughter prior to building a Theremin kit. 99% of it was great - but I was very disappointed that a PG-rated DVD would leave in the F-word and other obscenities from Mr. Brian Wilson. If you are watching this around children, be careful with this section.
Sony is a world name brand and this kind of battery is in that line.
Good product and reasonable price
I've purchased 4 sets of these batteries so far, and I'll keep buying more. They're great, and none have failed so far. I bought the first set for my digital camera, and was so impressed that I've purchased more for the other battery operated items in my house (remote controls, radios, Nintendo Wii controllers, and more). Give them a chance, you'll be happy you did.
The Sony 2100 mAh AA's that I purchased a couple of years ago for a digital camera are still going strong, and the 2500 mAh AA's that I purchased for a new Canon PowerShot A640 have yet to wear out from the initial charge - shot over 500 pics so far (most without flash). Great product. Great value.

Canon PowerShot A640 10MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom
This battery is pretty good. Only charged it up once and it's lasting longer than a regular alkaline battery. Quality seems to be good and the sony charger that I bought also was great.
Bought a set for my Nintendo Wii controllers. Amazed at the quality. Since then, all the batteries at home are now using these rechargeables. It's so good, when I buy battery operated items, I try to get only the items that uses AA batteries.

Lasts a long time, easy to use, inexpensive too. Can't beat it.
My phone is an mp3 player and a phone so I ordered this product. It has turned out great, allowing for me to store so much more than I ever could before.
Received the product within a few days and it works perfectly in my Sandisk MP3 Player. Couldn't be happier.
Another excellent product from SanDisk. I am using it for my Nokia 6290. After receiving memory in retail box, opened it up, stick it in my 6290, format it with my phone. No problems what-so-ever. Holds tons of stuff! Including TomTom 6 with full USA maps, mp3's, pics, games!
Perfect compatibility with my cellular one, is not needed any controller and I have not had any problem when entering it in my PC.
Great product, Worked in all my computers except one but it is probably a glitch with this one laptop. The price I paid for this item was awsome, I dont belive you will get it any cheaper. Thanks for all the work that the Amazon staff does to make these great deals happen.
Amazon sent me one of the best MicroSD's out there, and there are differences. The one I got has fast read/write and random access speeds. I would give 6 stars if possible. I actually got 2 micro's from AZ(a 1g and a 2g) and they are both top quality.
this thing is very small, but with its SD adapter, it's all there... plus, if you get a USB adapter, even better... very useful
kinda small, but good
I use my 2GB microSD card to extend my Sansa e260 mp3 player. The card has worked beautifully.
I'm using the card in my phone so I can hold pictures and music. Works great!
By the time I write this review, I'm sure it'll be even lower in price, but it's a deal. The adapter is great to have on hand, and the card fits in my phone. What more could I ask for? It holds lots of stuff in a digital format, too. In fact, it holds more stuff than I really know what to do with.
The product does what it needs to do it can be a bit loose in European sockets but everything I have used worked
I just got back from Japan and Australia, and this adapter worked fine. No problem in using my shaver, digital camera battery charger, or my Dell laptop. It worked both in Japan and Australia without a hitch. I was able to charge my Laptop overnight in Australia, using this adapter, and it worked fine. Don't know what else to say, other than that this product work great.
Okay, so it does work, needs a little pampering though. Had to jiggle and prop it to charge a laptop. Charged a camera battery okay as well. FORGET a curling iron, I suspect a hairdryer will not work either. Dont forget to bring a US adapter for your standard ground plug(three pronged).
I just came back from Switzerland and Germany and the adapter worked well and was conveniently sized.
48% Off - Garmin Vehicle DC Power Adapter for GPS StreetPilot (010-10085-00) - $12.99
This product does everything it says it does in the advertisement. If you plan on leaving the GPS in the same vehicle, I would advise attaching the power lead to the side of the console or at least tucking the excess under the seat.
Many who have posted reviews have rated this item a "1" largely in protest to Amazon's mis-advertisement because the product they purchased already has a DC adapter. This is not a review of the product -- many of these people who rated a "1" never even used the product. If you look at the ratings of those who actually used this product, it rates quite well.

This is an adapter. It works. It's relatively compact and if it works with your unit, what more are you looking for?
I was debating how many stars to give this product. It is a DC adapter that I use for my Garmin GPSmap 60CSx. It works perfectly. I mean, what else would you expect? But since it is 100% functional, I think it deserves 100%. Please feel free to disagree!
This case is built like a little gorilla
and cannot be beat for the Amazon price
of about $10. It would be even better if
there was some way to make a "no glare"
clear plastic cover over the screen but
Hey, for ten bucks you can't beat this
baby.
Overall a good protective cover. My only gripe is the dust/dirt/whatever that gets inside through the large openings at the top. You just have to take the unit out of the case from time to time to clean off the screen, otherwise it's working great.
No complaints at all. Make sure you get the right case for the many Garmin models. This is not an easy task.
Nice, high quality, and fits the etrex like a glove!
Very good quality case that is well-worth the price. One minor problem with it is that the clear plastic window that one is supposed to view the GPS screen through produces a lot of glare and scratches easily, making it hard to see through.
